Swamp wallabies are mid-sized wallabies from East Australia. They do live in swamps, but are not confined to swamps - its habitat is restricted to dense underbrush rather than swampy areas. Swamp wallabies are browsers and have a high tolerance for plant toxins. They are not often hunted because of their bad taste and coarse fur.
