Short faced Kangaroos in GURPS

Sthenurus sp., Procoptodon sp.

Short faced kangaroos were browsers with long arms and hooked claws for pulling down branches to the mouth. As their name implies, their muzzles were short and their eyes were rather forward-facing. Unlike other kangaroos, which have three functional toes, the foot of the short faced kangaroos bore all its weight on one toe, which hand a rather hoof-like claw at its tip. This group arose during the Pliocene and went extinct at the end of the last ice age.
