Hare-Wallabies in GURPS

Lagorchestes sp.

Hare-wallabies are small macropods. Only the spectacled hare-wallaby Lagorchestes conspicillatus remains widespread, being found across northern Australia. One other species is restricted to a few small islands, and two species are extinct. This wallaby shelters under grass tussocks or hummocks during the day and forages at night. It has numerous adaptations for living in hot arid climates. The usual diet is grasses and herbs, but it sometimes also eats fruit. Hare-wallabies are normally solitary.
