Baird's tapirs live in the jungles of Central America, with a population on the Pacific coast of Columbia. They are the largest native land animal in both Central and South America. Baird's tapirs are the boldest of the tapirs, and may attack if approached in the wild. They are chocolate brown colored fading to a creamy white chin and throat.
