Salmon Sharks in GURPS

Lamna nasus

The porbeagle is a fairly lypical lamnid; a fast swimming, fish eating predator of the open ocean. There are no confirmed cases of a porbeagle attack on a human, three reported cases may have been caused by confusion with a great white shark. Nevertheless, this is a large, powerful, active predator and care should be taken around this shark.

Porbeagles have a strong curiosity. They have been known to play with fishing floats, mouthing them until they pop. They also play with kelp, rolling and unrolling the slithery strands around their bodies, even swimming off with the kelp trailing behind. On occasion, they have been observed chasing each other in what might best be described as play.
